Discover a new way to create every other week with The 5-Art-Form Creative Series, a five-part art series designed for anyone who loves making, experimenting and trying something new.
Over five classes, you'll explore five different artistic disciplines — abstract painting, mixed media, cyanotype, clay and gel printing. Each session introduces you to a new technique and gives you the opportunity to create a unique piece of art to take home (sometimes you’ll be making multiple).
Whether you're an experienced artist or simply curious to explore your creative side, no previous experience is required. Come for the opportunity to learn, experiment and enjoy a creative evening in good company.
Abstract Painting — Explore colour, texture, movement and expression as you create your own abstract artwork.
Mixed Media — Combine different materials, textures and techniques to create a layered and unique piece.
Cyanotype — Discover the magic of sun printing and create beautiful blue-and-white photographic prints using light and natural materials.
Clay — Get hands-on with clay as you shape and create your own decorative piece (we will be making beautiful clay Christmas ornaments)
Gel Printing — Experiment with layers, textures and colour to create vibrant, one-of-a-kind prints using a gel printing plate.

Creative Explorations is a 5-class series taking place every other week from September to November 2026. Each session focuses on a different artistic discipline, allowing you to explore a variety of creative techniques throughout the fall.

Creative Explorations is open to all ages and skill levels. While the series was designed with adults in mind, everyone is welcome to join.
Parents are especially encouraged to take the course alongside their child for a fun creative bonding experience. You don't need any previous art experience — just a willingness to experiment, learn something new and get creative together.
