Turn your favourite furry friend into a work of art! Join us for a fun and creative Paint Your Pet Workshop, where you’ll create your very own painted portrait of your pet.
No painting experience is necessary! Before the workshop, we’ll use a photo of your pet to create a custom outline for you to paint. When you arrive, you’ll have everything you need to bring your pet’s portrait to life, with guidance along the way to help you create a piece you’ll be proud to take home.
Whether you’re painting your dog, cat, or another beloved pet, this is a fun way to celebrate the animal who makes your house feel like home.
$5 of your ticket fee will be donated to the Durham SPCA and Humane Society Durham Region Animal Centre.
Important: After purchasing your ticket, please email a clear photo of your pet to info@artililyandco.ca. Your photo must be submitted at least 7 days in advance so we can prepare your custom outline for the workshop.

Using a gel printing plate, layers of paint, interesting textures, and a little experimentation, you'll discover how simple shapes and everyday objects can create surprisingly beautiful results.
You'll be guided through the process step by step, learning how to layer colours, create patterns, use textures, and experiment with different techniques to make unique prints. The best part? There are no mistakes in gel printing — every print is an opportunity to try something new.
Whether you're an experienced artist or completely new to printmaking, this relaxed and creative workshop is designed for everyone.
During the workshop, you'll create multiple original gel prints, experimenting with different colours, textures, patterns, and layering techniques. Because each print builds on the one before it, you'll quickly develop your own style and discover just how many possibilities a gel plate can offer.

Create your own handmade prints in this fun and creative Lino Cut Printmaking Workshop!
Learn the basics of lino cut printmaking and design your very own prints. You’ll carve one lino block, then use it to create as many prints as you like during the workshop — perfect for turning into unique, handmade holiday cards for friends and family.
Never tried lino cutting before? No problem! We’ll walk you through the process from designing and carving your block to inking and printing. Templates will be provided for anyone who would like a little inspiration or an easier starting point, or you can create your own original design.
Feeling festive? You can choose a holiday-inspired template (from our offerings) and print multiple holiday cards.
Once you’ve finished printing, you’ll take your lino block home with you, so you can continue making prints whenever you like!

Half the fun is going through the collection and discovering the perfect matchbooks to bring your vision to life!
You’ll be guided through the process with all materials and supplies provided. You’ll create a personalized shadow box frame featuring your chosen matchbooks and other meaningful details.
Want to make it extra personal? Participants are welcome to bring photographs, small mementos, or other small items to include in their shadow box alongside the matchbooks.
